Since launching in May 2024, we’ve helped six schools expand their athletic teams by an average of 15 athletes each—boosting overall participation by 39%. We’ve also redistributed over $100,000 worth of donated athletic gear to recreation centers, youth groups, and humanitarian relief nonprofits—giving more young athletes the equipment they need to play, compete, and thrive.
Through more than 32 events and 21 partnerships, we unite volunteers and young athletes around a shared goal: expanding access to sport. We partner with corporations, universities, and schools to create meaningful volunteer opportunities, while hosting youth programs, athlete talks, and mentorship experiences for underserved communities. Together, these efforts use the power of Division I athlete stories to educate, inspire, and empower the next generation.
SunBundle’s upcycling process has kept 1,107 pairs of shoes out of landfills since launching- giving them new life in the hands of athletes who need them most. By extending the lifespan of this gear, we help reduce the impact of overconsumption, including pollution, habitat destruction, and greenhouse gas emissions. Our circular model keeps quality equipment in play and demonstrates how sustainability and sport can work together to protect our planet.
